Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through Glen Turner Studio. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Glen Turner Studio creates handmade artwork, furniture, and homeware pieces designed and made in New Zealand. Each piece is individually crafted and may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of the work and the unique characteristics of the materials used.

Handmade & One-of-a-Kind Work
Each piece created by Glen Turner Studio is made individually and is not mass-produced. Variations in colour, texture, grain, markings, and character are a natural part of working with timber and reclaimed materials.
Many materials used have had a previous life and may include natural imperfections, aged characteristics, marks, and variations. These qualities are often what make each piece unique and are intentionally embraced as part of the design.
By purchasing handmade work, you acknowledge and appreciate that your piece may differ slightly from photographs or previous examples.

Orders & Availability
Available products can be purchased directly through the website. While every effort is made to ensure product information, pricing, and availability are accurate, errors may occasionally occur.
If an issue arises with your order, I will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the best solution.

Custom & Commissioned Work
Commissioned pieces require collaboration between the client and Glen Turner Studio. Designs, materials, dimensions, pricing, and estimated completion timeframes will be discussed and agreed upon before work begins.
Because each commissioned piece is individually designed and handmade, completion times may vary depending on the complexity of the work, availability of materials, and current studio commitments.
A deposit or payment schedule may be required before work commences. Details will be confirmed during the consultation process.
Once production has started, changes to the agreed design may incur additional costs and may affect completion timeframes.

Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include applicable taxes where required.
Payment must be received in full before items are dispatched unless otherwise agreed for commissioned projects.
Glen Turner Studio reserves the right to update pricing at any time; however, confirmed orders will not be affected by future price changes.

Shipping & Delivery
Shipping timeframes vary depending on whether an item is ready-made, handmade to order, or commissioned.
As a small independent studio, orders are generally dispatched once per week. Express shipping may be available by arrangement.

Returns & Refunds
Due to the handmade and individual nature of many Glen Turner Studio pieces, returns are considered on a case-by-case basis.
If an item arrives damaged, faulty, or significantly different from the description provided, please contact me as soon as possible with details and photographs so the issue can be assessed.
Nothing in these terms affects your rights under New Zealand consumer protection laws.

Care & Maintenance
Customers are responsible for following recommended care instructions provided with their piece.
Timber is a natural material that can respond to changes in temperature, humidity, and environment. Natural movement, ageing, and changes over time are part of the character of timber and should be expected.

Intellectual Property
All designs, images, photographs, written content, and artwork displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of Glen Turner Studio and may not be reproduced without permission.

Privacy
Any personal information collected through this website is used only for processing orders, communicating with customers, and providing services. Information is handled in accordance with applicable New Zealand privacy requirements.
